PARKING 

• We have parking directly outside our door with easy access for prams. As we are often an “after hours” business, parking is available. Please note there are strict rules that parking in front of any roller door is prohibited. This is a Council and Strata requirement.

• If the car park is full, there is plenty of parking right next door within easy walking distance.

STUDIO SAFETY
A few guidelines to protect all our families and staff:

• Parents are responsible for their children before and after each class

• Please do not let children run in the car park. Parents must accompany their children at all times.

• We are a nut free studio. No food containing nuts are permitted into the studio or at any FDP event.

• Students and parents are responsible for any damage they may cause the studio.

• Parents are not permitted to watch the classes unless invited by the teacher.

• All enquiries are to be directed to the Director Nerida. Parents are not permitted to contact teachers directly either via the phone, email or any other method.

• By participating in dance classes and events it is accepted that there is an inherent risk in doing so and therefore FLIGHT DANCE PROJECT is released from any legal liability and responsibility resulting from your attendance and/or participation in any class, the studio, activity or event or the actions and negligence of any other persons.

• All students must be up to date with their fees.

• Parents, students and siblings are not permitted into the studios unless accompanied by staff.

• Students are required to wait in reception for their class.

•  FLIGHT DANCE PROJECT students may be photographed and filmed from time to time and in turn these photographs and videos may be used for promotional purposes. If you do not permit your child’s involvement please let the office know in writing.

• All students are expected to be kind, friendly and respectful to each other. We have a strict Anti-bullying policy.

• Parents and siblings should not go into the students’ hallway unless accessing the bathrooms. This space is just for dancers. 

• Please do not congregate around the studio doors.

• Please keep bags out of walkways 

• Parents and siblings should not enter the studio unless specifically invited in by the teacher. If you need to contact your child, please see our reception staff to collect your child from class.

• Please wait for class in reception or in the student room.

PROTECTING OUR DANCERS

• The safety and well-being emotionally and physically of all our students is extremely important to us. All of the teachers and directors at FDP have a valid WWCC (Working with children check). Many of our staff have been trained in First Aid. 

• Each studio has a viewing window on the classroom doors. 

• We have fully sprung floors and teach safe dance practices.

• FDP is a place where we welcome and encourage individualism.  Each and every member of our Studio is valued.  We have a supportive and encouraging dance family. 

• It is important that teachers are able to communicate quickly with dancers. It is with this in mind that disruptive behavior in class will result in a warning first and potential dismissal from the class.

• We have a strict anti bullying policy. Any member deemed to be conducting themselves either personally or on social media in an anti social way may result in dismissal from the Studio.

Active & creative kids vouchers

• FDP is an Active and Creative Kids provider, potentially saving you up to $300 per year.

FEES/PAYMENTS

Please contact us for an up to date Fee Schedule.

• Our fee structure offers generous discounts for dancers enrolled in multiple classes. The more classes you do, the bigger the discount.  We also offer a sibling discount.

• Invoices are emailed at the end of each term.  You have the option to pay in installments of in term increments. 

• FDP also has a generous referral system as we like to Thank our supporters. 

• ACTIVE KIDS & CREATIVE KIDS vouchers

• FDP accepts both of these vouchers which potentially can save you up to $300 per calendar year.  We can accept one voucher per term towards your term fees.  We require vouchers to be presented in HARD COPY with your child’s DOB written at the top.  Once payment is received your account will be credited.
